Joyful Heart Foundation: Illustration

Illustration commissioned for Planned Parenthood benefit show at the New Women Space. This piece focuses on the ephemeral nature of voting. Considering the countless hours, slogans, and visual displays that go into getting people to vote, the "Vote Here" sign is the visual climax to all this coaxing. In the 24hrs they are posted, these signs carry tremendous significance. The next day, their meaning is lost and are left crumpled in the nearest trash can.
